The Kenyan singer of American origin, Victoria Kimani, attacked Chocolate City about a disagreement on the lack of adequate support of the label.
The Afropop singer who made her feelings known through an Instagram commentary released yesterday revealed that "Safari", her album 2016 will be her last project with the record company.
Now animated by anticipation, its view now looks toward a future without the label of records.
"Mann" these labels got me independent feelin! "But still I keep pushing cuz more HE is in me than he who is in the world.
"SAFARI is my latest project with @choccitymusic .... Excited about what is NEXT!", She writes.
So far, Kimani, who signed to Choc City in the year 2012 has enjoyed a good relationship and success with the label.
His first album, "Safari" featured music shots, Ice Prince, Jesse Jagz, Khuli Chana, Sarkodie, Donald, Phyno and many others.
The singer's "Queen Victoria" mixtape is also one of the highlights of her time with Chocolate City.
