UGANDA HAVE BEEN DISQUALIFIED FROM UNDER 20 NATIONS CUP
Uganda were disqualified to qualify for the under 20 of the African Cup of Nations in 2017 for fielding an ineligible player .
The offense was committed in the first round , second leg against Rwanda , Uganda who won 2-1 for an overall 3-2 victory .
However, James Aheebwa Uganda had different dates of birth on his passport and inter-club permit.
Rwanda were reinstated and will take Egypt in the second round.
Rwanda Football Federation had challenged the admissibility of Frank Tumwesigye , Aheebwa James Kizza Lwalirwa Halid and Martin .
Only James was found that the different dates of birth: 05/19/1998 on the passport, and on 03.27.1997 the Confederation of African Football clubs international license .
Although both dates put James in the age limit for the competition, the rules state that both dates must match.
