A 21 year old british man by name alexander mackey was charged to court for swallowing a gold fish, the 21 year old was said to have drank seven can of lager as of the time of incident, he was filmed while he dropped the fish in his mouth and showed he has downed it he was later arrested and pleaded guilty of to a charge under the animal welfare act 2006 which is against causing unnecessary suffering to a goldfish since it was an alcohol induced act he was asked to pay a fine of of 752 dollars and banned from possessing fish for five years.
